Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, you will contribute directly to supporting Stark's hyper-growth and mission-critical defense technology initiatives. YOUR MISSION As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, statutory reporting, and financial compliance across our operations. You will drive process improvements, maintain precise financial records, and provide key financial insights to empower data-driven strategic decisions. WHAT YOU WILL DO AT STARK <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Manage and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with HGB and IFRS standards.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory compliance reports accurately and on schedule.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Lead internal and external audit coordination, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Optimize internal controls, accounting workflows, and financial systems to support scalable company growth.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to align accounting outputs with budgeting and forecasting models.</li> </ul> WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within a fast-growing tech or manufacturing environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong expertise in HGB accounting principles; thorough familiarity with IFRS is highly desirable.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA/Steuerberater qualification is a plus).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proficiency with modern ERP systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel financial modeling skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Fluent professional proficiency in both English and German.</li> </ul> NICE TO HAVE <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prior exposure to defense, aerospace, or industrial technology sectors.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience handling government grants, public funding, or defense procurement regulations.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with automated accounting workflows and digitized invoice processing tools.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English.
