With the product and reputation already proven, the company is now building a dedicated new business function to match. The Role As Business Development Director, you will open doors with enterprise brands across Germany and Europe and turn first conversations into signed signage contracts. This is a true new business role: there is no inherited book of accounts, and you will have real autonomy over your pipeline, relationships, and approach. You will work with senior marketing, retail, and procurement stakeholders on the client side, then hand signed projects to an experienced internal delivery team, so your time goes into selling. This role is ideal for a structured hunter who knows how to get in front of the right people and hold their ground with procurement. Key Responsibilities Identify and win new enterprise brand accounts across Germany and Europe, from first outreach through to signed contract Build and own relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and senior marketing leaders Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes involving marketing, retail operations, and procurement Scope complex signage projects with clients and brief the internal delivery team clearly from day one Lead tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreements Grow accounts over time through repeat orders, upsell, and multi-location rollouts Represent the company at selected trade fairs and industry events such as EuroShop, chosen and worked strategically Ideal Candidate 2–4 years of new business or key account experience selling complex physical projects to enterprise brands Hands-on procurement experience, including tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreements Native-level German and professional English Based in Berlin or able to work from the Berlin office on a hybrid basis Genuine hunter mentality: comfortable building pipeline from scratch and getting in front of senior decision-makers Commercially structured: manages a pipeline with discipline and keeps complex, multi-stakeholder deals moving Holds firm in commercial negotiations while building relationships that lead to repeat business Nice to Have An existing network among brand, retail marketing, or visual merchandising leaders in DACH A background in signage, brand experience, retail or shopper marketing agencies, POS and visual merchandising, shopfitting, trade fair construction, event agencies with retail or hospitality clients, or large-format production Experience working trade fairs as a lead generation channel Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
